PLUS ADVISES HIGHWAY CUSTOMERS TO CHECK THE STATUS OF THEIR TOUCH ‘N GO CARDS PRIOR TO BALIK KAMPUNG

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) advises all  its highway customers to check the validity of their Touch ‘n Go cards at http://tngportal.touchngo.com.my/tngPortal/login prior to their Balik Kampung travel this festive season. Dormant or expired cards if used at the toll plaza will be declined by the system and they may not be able to pass through the toll plaza, which will result in traffic congestion.

“We advise our customers with dormant or expired  Touch ‘n Go cards to obtain a replacement from Touch ‘n Go authorised retailers and sales agents across the country,” said PLUS Chief Operating Officer, Datuk Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi.

As highway customers may not have had the opportunity to travel during the 2020 Movement Control Order (PKP), their Touch 'n Go cards will be inactive as no toll transactions are made within 12 months in a row.

Alternatively, MyKad with embedded Touch ‘n Go chips can be topped up for use at the highways. Similarly, Watsons loyalty card members have cards that are also embedded with Touch ‘n Go chip, which is usable at the toll plazas when travelling back home to their kampongs.

For the ease and convenience of top-ups, there are over 11,000 available Touch ‘n Go reload centres provided at selected R&Rs, ATM machines, and convenience stores along PLUS highways, as well as other facilities, which includes 67 Self Service Kiosks (SSK) at selected toll plazas. There are also 22 Touch ‘n Go counters at selected petrol stations along PLUS highways which allows top up without additional charges.
