29 January 2021 – With the current prevailing situation of COVID-19, PLUS Malaysia Berhad takes precautionary measures on ensuring the continued operations of the Rest & Service Areas (R&R), through regular cleaning & sanitizing of the premises, implementation of the entry record and screening, installation of SOP reminder posters, hand sanitizers and physical gap marking indicators at the general walking areas, stall/outlet ordering areas, suraus and the restrooms.
These initiatives are in line with the guidelines from Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) and Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
- Closure of food court seating area
PLUS Malaysia Berhad has taken precautionary measures to close the R&R food court eating area until further notice.
- Regular cleaning & sanitizing at premises
We continually practice strict hygiene and sanitation measures at our premises, including all the R&Rs and Laybys along the PLUS highway. The safety of our staff, R&R workers and our customers is our primary concern.
- Social distancing encouraged at stall/outlet front and restrooms
Minimum 1-metre rule and gap indicators were implemented at the R&R stall/outlet ordering sections as well as the restrooms and general walking areas. This is to help remind the public to practise the spacing etiquette and social distancing at public premises.
- Sanitization of surau
This facility is open 24-hours to all highway customers. However, customers are reminded to always follow the SOPs while using the facility.
- Temporary closure of Playground facilities and Wakaf Area
The temporary closure is in line with the order of the Authorities as a necessary precaution to minimize the risk of Covid-19 transmission through crowd congregation.
