AIRCRAFT MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING AT KM47.8 (SOUTH BOUND) ON PLUS HIGHWAY

Petaling Jaya, 22nd November 2020 :- PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) confirms that a light aircraft landed on its highway near Sedenak this morning due to technical problems.

The PLUS Traffic Monitoring Centre (TMC) was notified about a missing aircraft from the Senai Air Traffic Control (ATC) radar at 10:55am and was requested to monitor the highway and provide the necessary assistance if required. At 10:56am, the TMC received a call from highway customers notifying a light aircraft was sighted on the highway at KM47.8 (South Bound) and they immediately deployed a PLUSRonda team to assist. At the same time, the Fire and Rescue Department and the Police were also notified for their further action.

Upon their arrival, the PLUSRonda facilitated in managing traffic as well as provide a temporary safe zone in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and the Police.

There were no injuries nor fatalities and the aircraft was moved to a safe zone on the highway with CAAM's permission, and traffic on the highway is back to normal.

 

PESAWAT RINGAN MENDARAT CEMAS DI KM47.8 (ARAH SELATAN) DI LEBUH RAYA PLUS

Petaling Jaya, 22 November 2020 :- PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) mengesahkan bahawa sebuah pesawat ringan telah melakukan pendaratan cemas di lebuh rayanya berhampiran Sedenak pagi ini ekoran masalah teknikal.

Pusat Kawalan Trafik (TMC) PLUS mendapat maklumat tentang kapal terbang hilang dari radar di Pusat Kawalan Trafik Udara (ATC) Senai pada jam 10:55 pagi dan memohon PLUS memantau kawasan lebuh raya untuk memberikan bantuan sekiranya perlu. Pada jam 10:56 pagi, TMC telah mendapat panggilan daripada pengguna lebuh raya mengenai kehadiran sebuah pesawat ringan di lebuh raya di KM47.8 (arah selatan) dan bergegas menghantar pasukan PLUSRonda untuk memberi bantuan sambil menghubungi pasukan Bomba dan Penyelamat serta Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM) untuk tindakan selanjutnya. 

Sejurus tiba di lokasi, pasukan PLUSRonda telah membantu untuk menguruskan trafik serta menyediakan zon selamat dan bekerjasama dengan Pihak Berkuasa Penerbangan Awam (CAAM) dan pihak Polis.

Tiada kecederaan atau kehilangan nyawa dilaporkan dan pesawat tersebut telah berjaya dialihkan ke kawasan yang selamat berhampiran lokasi kejadian dengan kebenaran CAAM dan perjalanan trafik kembali lancar dan terkawal.
