PLUS currently operates and maintains the following highways:-

Toll Fare calculation is based on the current toll rate (cent/km) and distance travelled.The distance is calculated from PLUS' Limit of Maintenance Responsibilities (LMR) and not from the respective toll plazas. The distance is checked and approved by the Malaysian Highway Authority.
The latest traffic updates are provided through the toll-free PLUSLine (1800 88 0000), electronic message boards installed at strategic location along the highways, major radio stations and the PLUStrafik Twitter service.

A Closed system requires the user to 'touch-in' or collect a transit ticket/card upon entering the highway and 'touch-out' or return the transit ticket/card upon exit. The toll rate is based on the Vehicle Class and distance traveled.
For an Open system, no transit ticket/card is issued. However, the user is required to pay for toll upon passing through a toll plaza. The toll fare is based on the Vehicle Class.
Slow moving vehicle such as bicycles, trishaws, tractors and so on are not permitted on the PLUS highways.
Each day, approximately 1.5 million vehicles ply the PLUS-operated highways.

However, highway users are advised to observe and follow all temporary speed limits ignages installed along the expressways especially at construction areas or at any incident/accident location.
Users can seek assistance from the PLUSRonda team by utilizing the emergency telephones installed at every two kilometers along the expressway or by calling the PLUSLine at 1 800 88 0000.
PLUSRonda teams with Auxiliary Police Power patrol the expressway 24-hours a day. Among complimentary services offered by the PLUSRonda teams are minor vehicle repairs, towing for light vehicles to the nearest safe place or toll plaza and provide general traffic management during accidents and emergencies.
The Existing tow trucks or carriers can only cater for light vehicles such as passenger cars, taxis, pick-up lorries, vans and small lorries without load.
Vehicles experiencing mechanical problems will be towed by the PLUSRonda to the nearest safe locations such as toll plazas, rest and service areas or lay-bys.
PLUSRonda officers cannot issue traffic summonses to highway users even though they are also Auxiliary Police officers. However, summonses can be issued by Expressway Police teams that also patrol the expressway.
PLUSRonda teams use various types of vehicles to patrol the highways. The PLUSRonda fleet includes 4X4 vehicles, tow trucks, slide desk carriers and motorcycles.
Currently, there are 140 PLUSRonda teams with more than 400 personnel. On normal days, 46 teams are allocated for morning shifts, 50 teams for afternoon shifts and 44 teams for night shifts.
Note: There are some cases where highway users were cheated by tow truck operators who claimed that they are PLUSRonda officers or they were sent by PLUS to tow their vehicles. To prevent this, users are advised to call the PLUSLine (1800 88 0000) for confirmation. Do not entertain any tow truck operator or agent and do not sign any document or authorization letter.
Rest and Service Area (RSA), located every 80 to 100 kilometres provide facilities such as food stalls, rest huts, highway motels (selected locations only), prayer rooms, petrol stations, public restrooms, convenience shops, ATMs, public telephones, parking bays and children's playgrounds.
Lay-by or mini RSA is located at every 25 to 50 kilometres along the highways. A lay-by offers basic facilities such as public restrooms, public telephones, parking bays and rest huts. However, some upgraded lay-bys offer additional facilities such as food stalls, petrol stations, prayer rooms and others.
There are currently 48 Lay-bys (inclusive of vista points and truckers' centre) and 27 RSAs (inclusive of overhead bridge restaurants) on all PLUS-operated highways.
The Touch 'n Go card (including PLUSMiles card) and the SmartTAG.
A PLUSMiles card is a Touch 'n Go enabled pre-paid smart card which allows the cardholder to enjoy 5% toll rebate or points reward for toll usage at PLUS highways and discounts from participating PLUSMiles merchants unlike the generic Touch 'n Go card.
PLUSMiles card purchase and registration are available at Customer Service Centres along the PLUS highways. The card is also available during PLUSMiles mobile sale programs and selected petrol stations.
PLUSTrack is a pioneer fleet card initiated by PLUS for transporters as an alternative electronic mode for toll payment. It is a solution for day-to-day efficient fleet management and rewarded with tiered-rebate program (subject to PLUSTrack's terms and conditions). The Travel Time Advisory (TTA) is a set of recommended staggered travel times for various destinations along the highways. It is developed to improve traffic flow on the mainline during festive seasons by proactive scheduling of travel to provide a smoother flow of traffic and at the same time reduce congestion during peak hours.
