North-South Expressway (NSE)
New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE)
Fully completed in 1993, the 35km New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) was built to accommodate the growing population of Klang Valley and the resulting traffic congestion during rush hour between Kuala Lumpur and Klang.
Seremban-Port Dickson Highway (SPDH)
Built with the aim of reducing the travel distance from Mambau in Seremban to Port Dickson, the 23 km-long Seremban-Port Dickson Highway (SPDH) expressway was opened to the public in 1998, providing an alternative route to the main federal road in Negeri Sembilan, known for its challenging terrain.
North-South Expressway Central Link (NSECL)
The North-South Expressway Central Link (NSECL), also popularly known as Expressway Lingkaran Tengah (ELITE), serves as a critical connection within the North-South Expressway (NSE). It ensures a seamless and uninterrupted journey for both northbound and southbound travellers, allowing them to bypass the congestion of the city of Kuala Lumpur.
Completed in 1997, the 63km expressway connects the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) at Shah Alam Interchange to the NSE at Nilai North Interchange. It is a popular route for travellers heading to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the administrative capital of Putrajaya.
As you move along the expressway, you will see the ELITE Karting Speedway Circuit, Malaysia’s first expressway go-kart circuit, located near the USJ Overhead Bridge Restaurant.
Malaysia-Singapore Second Link (LINKEDUA)
The Malaysia—Singapore Second Link, also known as LINKEDUA, was opened in 1998. It connects Singapore and Johor in Malaysia and was constructed to address the growing congestion on the causeway, easing the burden placed upon motorists commuting between the two countries.
You can access the 47-kilometre dual-three-lane highway, which includes a 1.92 km-long bridge crossing the Straits of Johor, by exiting the North–South Expressway (NSE) at Senai North Interchange. This interchange links Tanjung Kupang in Johor to Tuas in Singapore. Traveling on LINKEDUA will take less time than using the causeway due to smoother traffic in both directions.
Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine complex on both sides of the coast complements the bridge section of LINKEDUA. Should you have concerns regarding the bridge’s capacity, take comfort in knowing it was designed to accommodate up to
200,000 vehicles a day.

- Relays and communicates user emergency assistance to PLUSRonda.
- Manages Intelligent Transport System (ITS) equipment such as Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Variable Message Sign (VMS), Oversized Vehicle Detection System (OSVD), Emergency Telephone (ET), SMART LANE, Video Wall, Automatic Vehicle Detection System (AVDS), and more.
- Disseminates real-time traffic information to our highway customers through X@plustrafik, PUTRI Virtual Assistant, PLUS App, Variable Message Sign (VMS), PLUSLine, and radio stations.
- Liaises with relevant authorities, stakeholders, and appointed service providers for faster incident/breakdown clearance on the expressway mainline.
